Katie first began leading worship as a teenager. Naturally shy and introverted, learning how to lead well was an uphill journey. Katie spent years tucked away in a little corner of rural Ontario where she slowly and quietly developed confidence and skill.

She began writing her own congregational worship songs, and an EP produced in 2009 made its way around a handful of churches in Canada, the USA and Britain.

The years following were rich personally - as Katie met and married Josh and had 2 children - but quiet musically.

While involved in a few collaborative recordings here and there, nearly a decade passed before Katie found herself in the recording studio again with her own material.

Spirit Come, released in early 2017, is a tidy 9-track project bursting with creative color thanks to producers David Kuwabara and Nathan Finochio.

Katie and her family are currently located east of Toronto, where she is part of the worship and songwriting teams at Sanctus Church (formerly C4 Church).
